​Caron Greenblatt is a South African born visual artist currently living and working in Jerusalem, Israel. She holds a  B.A.(Fine Arts) and an M.A. (Art Therapy).

 

Caron's work is based primarily within the figurative art tradition of drawing and painting. She is drawn to primordial visual sources, specifically those relating to Motherhood, sacrifice, and prayer. These hold within them the secrets of our humanness, they trigger memory and visual associations and lead to a surprising and personal imagery. 

 

Caron has presented in solo shows and group exhibitions in venues such as: The Bible Lands Museum, Jerusalem, The Sunning Art Museum, Shang Hai, Bowery Gallery, New York, University of North Carolina, and others. Her work is held in private collections in Israel and abroad.
