About
Caron Greenblatt is a South African born visual artist currently living and working in Jerusalem, Israel. She holds a B.A.(Fine Arts) and an M.A.A.T. (Art Therapy). Caron's work, based within the figurative art tradition, explores the mother-child connection and the larger concepts experienced within this embrace, such as guardianship, holding, protecting, devotion and care. As Motherhood is a central and primal expression of our humanness, Caron looks to primary and primordial visual sources for inspiration. These sources trigger memory and visual associations which lead to a surprising and personal imagery.

Caron's work has been exhibited in many group shows in venues such as: The Bible Lands Museum, Jerusalem, The Sunning Art Museum, Shang Hai, Bowery Gallery, New York and others. Her work is held in private collections in Israel and abroad.
