Caron Greenblatt is a South African born visual artist currently living and working in Jerusalem, Israel. She received her B.A..(Fine Arts) from The University of Johannesburg, South Africa and an M.A. (Art Therapy).

 

Caron's work is based primarily within the figurative art tradition of drawing and painting. She engages and experiments with this source of visual expression, pushing the boundaries of common formal visual conventions. She is drawn to primoridial visual sources, which hold withing them the secrets of our humaness. They trigger memory and visual associations which lead to a surprising and personal imagery. 

 

Caron's work has been exhibited in many group shows in venues such as:  The Bible Lands Museum, Jerusalem, The Sunning Art Museum, Shang Hai, Bowery Gallery, New York, University of North Carolina, and others. Her work is held in private collections in Israel and abroad.
