Guardian at the Gates​

A Mother's act of holding and protecting her child is a primal and essential part of her being. On becoming a Mother of soldiers, the experience of Mother as prime guardian and protector was challenged.  I searched for imagery which would hold within it the spirit of this experience. more information on this project here: https://jourms.org/guardians-at-the-gates/
